Knebworth is a village in North Hertfordshire situated between Welwyn and Stevenage and to the east of the A1(M) motorway. The B197 road runs through the village and the clubs facilities are in Watton Road, Knebworth which is off of the B197. A map showing the location is below. It takes approx 5-10 minutes from junction 6 (south) or junction 7 (north) of the A1(M). For those travelling further, Knebworth is approximately 15 minutes drive from the M25/A1(M) junction in the south, and about the same from the A10/A602 junction in the east.
If approaching Knebworth from the south and Welwyn Garden City (A1M Junction 6), you go through Oaklands and Woolmer Green passing The Chequers and The Red Lion pubs and enter the village. As you reach the parade of shops (Co-op on your right) Watton Road is the next right turn adjacent to 'Trussells Butchers'. The entrance to the park is approximately 100 yards on your left-hand side (hidden between the houses!) and before you get to Bell Close. (see photo below)
If approaching Knebworth from the north and Stevenage (A1M Junction 7), you head towards the B197. As you drive past the Tesco supermarket at Roebuck, and at the mini-roundabout by The Roebuck Inn, take the B197 sign-posted to Knebworth. As you climb the hill, Knebworth Golf Course will be on your right-hand side. As you reach the start of the village, continue to the first mini-roundabout and then take a left into Watton Road by 'Trussells Butchers'. The entrance to the ground is approximately 100 yards on your left-hand side (hidden between the houses!) and before you get to Bell Close. (see photo below)
If approaching Knebworth from the East (A602), head towards Stevenage on the A602 until you reach Stevenage Golf Club on your right-hand side. At the mini-roundabout take the left turn into Hertford Road and pass the parade of shops on your left. Take the left turn at the mini-roundabout into Watton Road and go under the railway bridge following the road past the crematorium until you reach Knebworth. The entrance to the ground will be on your right-hand side just after Bell Close. (see photo below)
